Ahhh ~~~ Juz realised tt my blog is turning into a weekly journal already.. co is really taking up a lot of my time these days, with my syf coming up nxt tuesday.. Really hope we get gold with honours sia, can't imagine the situation when we failed to get it lah, think it will be super sad lor..Hmm, let me try n recall the week's events..Chem SPABefore it started, i so 'intelligently' gt myself a paper cut lor.. Then i was trying to wash it at the sink when i noticed a suspiciously looking colourless bottle of liquid on the table.. Turned the bottle arnd to see tt wonderful label telling me tt its 2M sulphuric acid... HaizZz, thru-out tt little cut kept on irritating me lah, keep on giving me thing stinging pain... But guess wat, the worse is yet to be... (sounds familiar .. =P )I performed another 'intelligent' stunt. Called the teacher like 6 -7 times to ask him abt the colour of my solution. Lolz, then when i reached the calculations part, i only have 5 mins -_-" I was like looking at the clock, then panic like mad, n happily forgot tt the equation for the redox titration was given in front =S In the end, i only managed to squeeze out 1 line of working tt i think is derserving of some sympathy marks =( Worked out the value of x in FeSO4.xH2O later with my titration results n i found tt my results will give x = 7, n tts the supposingly correct value !!!!! Argh.. guess its all fated lah, but its my fault to have colour defiency... =(Phy mock SPALolz, i muz say, whoever who came up with such a 2pid experiment seriously ought to be shot lah.. Usual when u do oscillations n stuff rite, u will use this thingie called a pendulum.. But this time, we used 2 metre rules instead, with one secured n another suspended in mid air, conncected to the first one by 2 strings.. n tt suspended rule is SUPPOSED to oscillate... Firstly, i took like 40 mins to set up my expt, think mainly due to the fan being switched off, causing me to be bathing in my own perspiration.. secondly cuz tt set-up is quite troublesome oso.. When i finally gt it up, i tried to oscillate it.. It oscillate for a few times n comes to a stop =S I was like.. great, what am i suppose to do now.. Then all of a sudden, WIND came blowing happily from the door n my rule started moving =S Lolz, it oscillates so much tt it whacked the retort stand.. Sigh, then i decided to fake results (as usual =) ) but end up failing terribly cuz my 2 values used to work out the proportion isn't accurate at all.. Heng its juz a mock SPA, if this thingie ever comes out for SPA.. think i'll juz start faking results right at the start...CO Pracsco pracs n getting tiring but surprisingly fun =) Tiring cuz of the obvious reasons lah, prac on monday till 9+, tuesday till 7, wed till 9++, thursday till near 8... n tml will be from 8 - 5... Heh, fun maybe cuz of this interesting lunch session tt we had where yiting attempts to finish her ban mian in 10 minutes... n this dinner where both my arms were numb after it n i wonders y... Hmm, can see tt the tanbo section is getting more bonded together than b4, even though its tt usual few who will go for meals together...Another thing abt co, i 'sold' my first co concert ticket !!! Its in inverted commas cuz tt guy paid me le but din bother to get the ticket.. Lolz, think he's juz like paying me 8 bucks to stop me from bugging him to go for the concert.. tt brings me to another impt. pt...Ppl !!! Come for the CO concert !~~~~~~ =)PESigh, NAPFA is coming soon, n i have totally no hope of passing it at all lah.. =( Practised pull-ups, sit-ups, standing board jump today, passing only sit-ups.. Pull-up i did only 1 lah, standing board jump is barely 190cm lah, n sit-ups is 36 reps, 1 rep away from C grade.. Sigh, been failing NAPFA for some time already, guess i'll fail again this yr.. Nvm, juz pray hard hard nxt yr at least get silver.. but tt wud means some training for me.. Hope i'll have the discipline to do tt, sometime later in the yr =PThink tts abt all le, hope me blog wun become weekly journal even after syf..*pai seh shan, dun think can make it for stAJworks...
